Clean Power Hydrogen plc
("CPH2", the "Company" or the "Group")
Level 2 Factory Acceptance Test Successfully Completed
CPH2, the UK-based green hydrogen technology and manufacturing company that has developed the IP-protected Membrane-Free Electrolyser ("MFE"), is pleased to announce the successful completion of Level 2 of the Factory Acceptance Test ("FAT") for its MFE110 electrolyser.
Highlights
· The Level 2 FAT has been successfully completed and independently witnessed by Lagan MEICA the Principal Contactor and Arup, representative for Northern Ireland Water.
· The completion of the Level 2 FAT marks another key milestone towards achieving final FAT, paving the way to commerciality.
· The Company's focus is now on completing the final Level 3 FAT, to be independently witnessed by Lagan MEICA and Arup, before deployment to Northern Ireland Water.
The Level 2 FAT verified functionality of the MFE110 electrolyser and included end-to-end checks of control loops, electrical and mechanical plant, instrument calibration, and electrical installations in accordance with requirements. Functional testing of Programmable Logic Control functions on the physical system to demonstrate correct operation according to parameters was also completed.
This milestone marks the second of three stages within the FAT, which run sequentially. The Company is now proceeding with the Level 3 FAT, the final testing procedure, which will involve a formal demonstration of operation and performance witnessed by Lagan MEICA as well as Arup, a global engineering contractor.
The completed FAT of the MFE110 will be the first customer acceptance and validation of CPH2's scaled electrolyser technology, marking a historic moment for Membrane-Free technology and a significant milestone in the Company's route to market.
Jon Duffy, CEO commented:
"We continue to make solid, positive progress with another FAT stage successfully completed, and have now moved on to the final stage: Level 3 of the MFE110 FAT. As we reach this crucial turning point, I would like to extend my gratitude to our staff, shareholders and partners for their ongoing support during the FAT process, especially Lagan MEICA for their guidance. We look forward to updating the market once we have reached commercialisation in due course."
Alistair Jinks, Director of Business of Services at Northern Ireland Water commented:
"We are encouraged by the progress made by the CPH2 team and the positive reports back from our principle contractor Lagan MEICA and engineering representative, Arup. We look forward to the Level 3 FAT, prior to deployment to our site in Belfast."
