UL Solutions Warns of Unauthorized UL Marks on Carbon Monoxide Detectors and Combined Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Alarms

Unauthorized certification marks were applied to carbon monoxide detectors and combined smoke and carbon monoxide alarms, which have not been evaluated by UL Solutions to the appropriate safety standards, posing potential risks to consumers.

NORTHBROOK, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 9, 2025-- UL Solutions (NYSE: ULS), a global leader in applied safety science, issued public notices regarding the following products, which bear unauthorized UL certification marks and may pose safety risks:

- Gedsffati carbon monoxide alarm (product model HD08) and Gedsffati combined smoke and carbon monoxide alarm (product model HD11);

- HAKINAKU carbon monoxide detectors (product model HD09);

- and carbon monoxide detectors (product model HD10) sold by Shenzhen Huidu Technology Co. Ltd.

These products, sold under the brand names and product models mentioned above through Amazon.com, have not been evaluated by UL Solutions to the appropriate safety standards, and it is unknown whether they meet any safety requirements. UL Solutions recommends that these products be removed from service and immediately replaced with properly UL certified carbon monoxide alarms and combined smoke and carbon monoxide alarms.

- Carbon monoxide detectors (product model HD10) sold by Shenzhen Huidu Technology Co. Ltd.
