The Company is engaged in the import, assembly and sale of passenger cars, heavy vehicles and industrial equipment, as well as in the sale of spare parts for motor vehicles and provision of related technical after-sales services. Toyota Caetano is active in the import and distribution of products under brand names Toyota, Lexus and BT. It operates an industrial plant in the Portuguese city of Ovar. Additionally, the Company is engaged in the rental of industrial equipment for cargo movement. The Company operates nationally and abroad, including Germany, the United Kingdom and Spain, among others. As of December 31, 2011, Toyota Caetano had three direct subsidiaries: Saltano - Investimentos e Gestao SGPS SA, Cabo Verde Motors SARL and Movicargo - Movimentacao Industrial Lda.
