About the company

Genting Plantations Berhad is a Malaysia-based company, which is engaged in plantation and provision of management services to its subsidiaries. The Company's segments include Plantation, Property, AgTech, Downstream manufacturing and Others. The Plantation segment includes upstream activities relating to oil palm plantations in Malaysia and Indonesia. The Property segment includes activities relating to property development and property investment. The AgTech segment includes activities relating to genomics research and development. The Downstream manufacturing segment includes activities relating to manufacturing and sale of palm oil derivative products. It has a landbank of 243,300 hectares (including Plasma schemes). It operates 13 palm oil mills in Malaysia and Indonesia: one in Peninsular Malaysia, six in Sabah, and six in Indonesia. Its subsidiaries include ACGT Sdn Bhd, Aura Empire Sdn Bhd, Palma Ketara Sdn Bhd, and Asiaticom Sdn Bhd.
