The Company operates within two business areas, namely Closures and Barrels. The Closures business area is involved in the manufacturing and sale of closures, such as the DIAM closure. The Barrels business area is engaged in the provision of solutions, such as kegs and large oak containers, for ageing wines and spirits. The Company sells its products primarily in France, as well as in other European countries and the United States, among others. Andromede SA is a major shareholder of the Company. In August 2014, it announced the acquisition of Vivelys and Boise France.
